How to Boost Testosterone First Thing in the Morning

Testosterone Boosting Morning Routine

How you start your morning sets the tone for your day. And the first hour of the day can impact how much testosterone you have for the rest of the day, too.

Like you already know, your testosterone levels can impact how much you’ll lift in the gym, your energy levels and motivation, how well you perform in the bedroom, and so much more.

With that in mind, I want to give you five ways to boost your testosterone levels starting first thing in the morning.

Give Yourself Time To Wake Up

The worst thing you can do for mental clarity, your own sanity and your testosterone is to wake up in a hurry.

Here’s what I mean…

Most people wake up late, keep hitting snooze on the alarm and then 15 minutes later they rush to the bathroom, dress up and try to beat traffic to work.

That routine puts stress on your mind and body. And it releases a hormone called cortisol. Cortisol is a stress hormone. And when it’s released, it decreases testosterone. So when you wake up in a rush, you begin suppressing T-levels first thing, which is the last thing you want.

To maintain higher testosterone levels, you need to give yourself time to wake up properly. That means you should go to bed on time, getting 7-9 hours of sleep per night. If you do that you’ll notice a huge boost in energy, mental clarity and testosterone.

If you have the luxury to do so, try to get into the habit of waking up without an alarm clock. By letting your body wake up naturally, it helps make sure you get the amount of sleep your body really needs.

Get Sun First Thing

When you give yourself enough time to wake up properly, you'll be able to get out in the sun and absorb sunlight.

Sunlight has a positive effect on your body, vitamin D levels, and testosterone production.

When the sun’s rays hit the skin, processes inside the tissues start making vitamin D and multiple studies have shown that individuals who have higher levels of Vitamin D have increased levels of testosterone.

Sunlight also has a natural effect on your melatonin (sleep hormone) levels. In the morning, sunlight inhibits melatonin (what you want) and increases your serotonin levels, which has positive effects on your mood and productivity.

So getting that early shot of vitamin D from sunlight can give you a big boost in lots of ways.

Studies also show people who get sunlight first thing in the morning and are out in the sun for a minimum of 20 minutes per day are much more productive, and have higher energy levels and testosterone levels as compared to others.

#3 - Avoid Caffeine First Thing

You don’t have to avoid caffeine all morning. Just try to stay away from it first thing.

While caffeine can give you a boost, starting your day with it can disrupt your hormones. And drinking too much can lower your testosterone levels.

That’s because too much caffeine increases cortisol. And like I mentioned earlier, when your cortisol levels increase, your testosterone levels decrease.

So try to make it through the first hour of your day without caffeine so it doesn’t disrupt your hormones. And try to taper back on caffeine altogether to maintain healthier T-levels throughout the day.

Another way to do that is by substituting coffee with a greens supplement like Man Greens.

It’s a great way to get a kick of natural energy from nutrient-dense foods first thing in the morning. Plus the ingredients support testosterone so it makes for a solid start to the day.

#4 - Drink Water ASAP

Water is crucial for energy, performance, and testosterone. And being dehydrated can lead to a whole host of problems, including low energy, headaches, and even muscle cramps.

Dehydration also impacts testosterone levels. In fact, studies show that even mild dehydration can lead to a decrease in testosterone levels.

So if you're looking to increase testosterone, then make sure you stay properly hydrated throughout the day.

Drinking water also increases your metabolism and warm water specifically increases blood flow which has a direct effect on performance and energy. You don’t want to drink cold water because it tightens up your blood vessels and reduces blood flow. So keep it room temperature or warm.

How much water should you be drinking?

Experts recommend somewhere between eight and ten glasses per day. And if you're working out regularly, you'll need to drink even more.

So first thing in the morning instead of going for coffee...

Go for 500 ml to 750 ml of water mixed with Man Greens so you can really jump start your day

Here's a tip:

Put a glass of water on your nightstand or next to your toothbrush so you remember to drink it first thing in the morning. And keep a refillable water bottle on hand with you throughout the day to make sure you’re staying hydrated.

Bonus Tip

Like I hinted at earlier, a quick way to boost your T-levels early on is to dump a scoop of Man Greens in your water bottle and then drink it first thing in the morning.

Man Greens contains clinically effective doses of superfoods that help boost male hormone health, increase male performance, and improve overall health and vitality.

The ingredients also help to decrease stress levels, increase your testosterone levels and provide antioxidants to your body…

Plus it’ll give you natural, streamlined energy to help you stay focused throughout your day, crush your workouts and help you recover from those workouts quickly so you can hit it hard the next day.
