The Testosterone Boosting Morning
Jan 07, 2020
Great men “win the morning”...
Which means they do THE RIGHT things for their physical and emotional health from the moment their feet hit the ground. And no matter where you find yourself, or what you do for a living — if you’re going to do great things throughout the day, you need to win the morning, too.
So in this post, I’m going to show you how to do the right things from the get-go — and boost and protect your testosterone levels first thing after you roll out of bed so you can be fully-charged and optimally functional all day long.
Plus, you’ll want to make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post because I’ve saved the best and easiest “morning ritual” for last.
Take a look at the following list, implement it and start each day by winning.
Start slow
You probably have several important (and daunting) things to do during the day: work, exercise, study. You need to keep track of your own business, your partner, your kids. And, yes, all that can be stressful. But that’s why you need to get your day started BEFORE anyone else does — and ease into your morning before stress starts calling your name.
So listen — set your alarm clock for before anyone else in the house wakes up, and well before you have to rush off to work. This will help you stay relaxed first thing in the morning — which is actually a crucial part of protecting your testosterone health.
When you wake up and instantly stress out, your stress hormone (cortisol) spikes. And when your cortisol levels spike, your testosterone levels drop significantly, according to a study from Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Sweden. Testosterone and cortisol work like a teeter-totter on a playground. When one increases, the other one drops. So, when you avoid stressful situations, you’re not only lowering your cortisol levels but you’re also protecting and boosting your testosterone.
Your body spends almost the entire time while you’re sleeping producing testosterone for the day ahead. So to protect as much of that testosterone as possible, start your day before everyone else in the house, do something relaxing like reading, writing, or praying, and ease into the day.
Drink coffee
Too much coffee can significantly increase your levels of cortisol, and if you’ve been reading this carefully, you’ll know that cortisol lowers your testosterone. However, many studies have proved that drinking 1 or 2 cups of coffee before working out can increase your testosterone.
The reason that cortisol decreases testosterone in general is because they share the same building blocks. When cortisol uses all of the cholesterol, there is none left for the body to create testosterone. However, if you keep your cortisol levels in check in the morning (by limiting coffee intake to 2 cups), you’ll be good to go.
A study done by the United Kingdom Sports Council revealed that testosterone increases 10% with an intake of caffeine before exercise. And another group of studies show drinking coffee before a workout boosts strength and endurance in the gym.
Be Thankful
I know it may sound cheesy, but there is science behind gratitude.
Gratitude causes a state of non-stress in your body that can lower your cortisol levels and increase your levels of HDL cholesterol. HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol) is a necessary building block of testosterone. In fact, your body converts HDL cholesterol into testosterone while you sleep — so the higher the levels, the better.
Plus, a study from The Institute of HeartMath in Boulder, Colorado found that having a generally positive attitude can shift your nervous system into a harmonic state, which also provides you with more mental clarity, and keeps you relaxed. By staying cool, calm and collected, you’ll prevent cortisol levels from spiking and protect your hard-earned testosterone throughout the day.
The same study also found being thankful increases levels of DHEA in men — which decline with age. DHEA, like HDL cholesterol, is a metabolic precursor to testosterone, so by giving it a lift in the morning, you’ll increase testosterone levels, gym performance, and sexual health as a result.
Go for a walk
A short walk in the morning can help you lower cortisol, and automatically raising your testosterone as a result. Plus — studies have shown that simply catching some sunlight in the morning also boosts testosterone levels. This happens because your body absorbs vitamin D — a scientifically proven anabolic nutrient — from the sunlight.
Plus, walking in the morning helps another way — by helping you lose weight. When you have a higher percentage of body fat, you increase aromatase, which is an enzyme that transforms testosterone into estrogen. However, by losing body fat with brief and relaxing morning exercise, you’ll produce less of that enzyme and keep your testosterone levels safe.
Going for a walk in the morning also increases Dopamine production in the brain. Dopamine is a “feel good” hormone that’s activated during exercise, sex, and even when you listen to music or watch a sunrise. When dopamine increases, so does your T-count. So simply by adding a walk to your morning routine, you’ll put yourself in a great mood and boost testosterone along with it.
Take Man Boost
I told you at the beginning of this post that I’d save the best for last.
Well, here it is.
Take Man Boost.
Man Boost is an all-natural testosterone booster that I had my team of engineers formulate based on university-backed studies which prove the raw mineral ingredients inside to be a powerful help for any man looking to protect and boost his testosterone levels first thing in the morning.
Honestly, if you just had to pick one thing from this list — I’d choose Man Boost.
There are probably some days when it’ll be hard to start your morning off relaxed. There will be others where you don’t have time to make coffee, or write out thoughts in your “thankfulness journal” or go for a walk. But you’ll ALWAYS have a few seconds to swallow a quick serving of Man Boost and elevate your testosterone levels to start the day.
So do yourself a favor and check out Man Boost by clicking here.
You’ll be glad you did.
